Online, via the Medina Daily Journal, I was informed that my great grandfather's second wife, Anna Blockburger Perry Fetzer MacLean, was admitted into the hospital on April 12, 1971. Then, on February 8, 1972, she was discharged. Then, the Reference Service Department of the New York State Library revealed that on Monday, August 26, 1974, stating on page 8 of the Medina Journal Register, during the week of August 10, 1974, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Walker and their family, of Plant City, Florida, made a trip to celebrate Mrs. Anna MacLean's 85th birthday. A party was held at the Niagara County Infirmary, on Davison Road, for 18 relatives and friends. Then, within May of 1977, nearly three years after he birthday celebration, Anna MacLean passed away. She was 88 years old. She was buried next to her husband, my great grandfather, John William MacLean, within the Hartland Central Cemetery, in Hartland, Niagara County, New York.
Anna MacLean's name is posted on the tombstone and is buried next to her husband, John William MacLean, my great grandfather. His first wife, Martha Florence -nee Beyer- MacLean passed away, possibly in 1927, during childbirth of their last son (Edward) and her grave site cannot be located.
