I am seeking information on the ABBS family of Middleport, NY. Caroline (ABBS) Blake was living in Middleport in 1912 when my mother (Caroline Blake) was born in Middleport on 14 May 1912. ATKINSON

Hazel Pearl JONES married to Frederick? ATKINSON who migrated to Niagara County from Canada (believed to be Ontario). They had 10 children. Hazel died in the mid 1970's and is believed to be buried in the St. Mary's cemetery. Frederick returned to Canada in the 1950's. John BAKER and wife, Elizabeth (Sweet) Baker, are found in the 1865 Newfane Census. They had five children: Joseph, William, John Jr., Harvey and Annie. John was born June 1, 1831 in Germany, coming to America about 1853, Elizabeth was born in New Jersey. I am looking for more information about John and Elizabeth. They are my great grandparents. BERNER

I am looking for information about the family of Sebastian Burner (Berner), who emigrated with his wife (unknown) and infant son, William G. Berner, from Hannover, Germany in 1828. They settled in what later became Lockport in Niagara County. Sebastian was born about 1800. William was born in 1826, his sister Caroline in about 1831, and his brother Charles in about 1834. Sebastian evidently married a second time, to Susan Judd, apparently a widow. She had a son by her previous husband, born about 1835. Susan and Sebastian married before 1844, as they had at least three additional children: Emma (abt 1844), Lucilla (abt 1847), and Charlotte (abt 1850). BONFIELD

I am trying to find details of two of the brothers of my great grandfather who emigrated to the USA in the late 1800's. They were William Hockey BONFIELD (born 1861) and Walter BONFIELD (born 1868). The family were from Chardstock in Dorset/Devon in England. William Hockey BONFIELD emigrated in 1876 to Utica or Boonville, New York state, with a distant relative, another William BONFIELD. Walter BONFIELD followed his older brother, to the USA, sometime after 1881, and was last heard of as a gardener in the Niagara Falls area. A letter from William to his sister, Alice, of about 1910, said that he had lost all trace of Walter. Any other information on William and Walter would be appreciated, especially Walter, as it is not known if he married, and therefore, he may have descendants alive today. BUND

Looking for the family of Daniel Bund. Daniel married Mary WEHNER and moved to southern lower Michigan in the late 1860 or early 1870s. A death certificate for Daniel says his father was Peter Bund. There is a Lena Bund buried in the cememtery along with Daniel here in Michigan. I believe Lena to be a older sister or mother. Daniel and Mary's first son, Mathias was born in Pendleton, Niagara County, on November 10, 1866. Mary's death certificate says her father was a Joseph Weaver but all church records say that his name was Wehner. Daniel was a farmer and owned 51 acres in Monroe County Michigan.
