In Memoriam
In loving memory of our dearly beloved son and brother Maurice A. White who was killed in action two years ago, June 29, 1944.
When we look upon your picture
Sweet memories we recall
Of a face so full of sunshine
And a smile for one and all
Good was his heart and his friendship true
Loved and respected by all he knew
To a beautiful life came a sudden end,
He died as he lived, everyone's friend
Sadly missed by Mother, Dad, Brothers and Sisters
In memory of Maurice A. White, pfc, who was killed in action in France six years ago today, June 29, 1944.
A gold star shines in the sky tonight,
A star for a boy so brave
Who died in France
Proud of the life he gave.
Now he lies in that far off land
And a white cross bears the name
Of a dear son and brother whom we shall never forget
Till that day we shall see him again.
Lovingly remembered by Father, Mother, Sisters and Brothers.
