Denison, Byron B., was born in Cayuga county, October 23, 1857, and is a son of John M. Denison, a merchant. Byron Denison was educated in the public schools of that county and at the high school at Auburn. At the age of eighteen he entered the store of Abram Feuners, at Troopsville, N. Y., where he remained until 1878, when he was appointed a private on the Auburn (N. Y.) police force. He continued there until 1880, at which time he entered the service of the New York Central Railroad Company as city ticket agent at Auburn. On March 1, 1813, he was made city passenger and ticket agent at Niagara Falls, which position he still retains.
